Chair Massage

Chair massage is a short massage usually lasting anywhere between 5 – 30 minutes, which is the length of a typical work break. It is done using no oil, by a professional massage practitioner, while you sit, fully clothed, in a specially designed portable chair. The massage usually covers the head, neck, shoulders, back, arms, and hands but can be adapted to the individual’s needs.

Chair massage can be offered on-site on a weekly-monthly basis, or special occasions such as holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, national secretary’s day, grand openings, open house, as a break during long training sessions, a reward for good work, reaching goals, completing projects, or during peak work periods and deadlines, as well as health fairs.

Chair massage has proven to help with reducing the mental and physical effects of stress, relieves physical problems associated with repetitive tasks such as computer work, sorting, filing, and assembly line tasks; improves alertness and ability to focus; helps to relieve common problems such as tension headaches, and stiff sore muscles; improves immune system functions which helps prevent colds and other illnesses; and increases overall employee morale.
