Julie fell in love with yoga as a way to connect to her body’s wisdom during pregnancy and find her peace amongst the chaos of life. She has been practicing for about 6 years and holds a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification from Wild Essence Yoga School. Julie has a slow and strong style, often times working through emotions, making her practice a sweet medicine for the soul. She is also certified in holding Women’s Circles and is training to be a doula. Prenatal and Postnatal care are very near and dear to her heart and she wants to help open the conversation of women’s physical and mental health to bring together a community of support. Julie is also training to becoming a prenatal yoga teacher and will be offering classes and trainings in 2019.
Julie’s other loves are her family, painting, photography and all things magical. She has worked as a photographer for 20 years and has a degree in fine arts. She loves being in nature, tarot cards, crystal healing, visiting the ocean and the smell of books.
