Jan Lucier

Jan has been a registered nurse for over 25 years. She has worked in a variety of settings: medical-surgical, detox, methadone clinics, psychiatry, case management, home care, pediatrics, community health, and now as a nurse educator at Elms College & American International College.  Jan became a holistic nurse (HNB-BC) in 2005 and this ignited a passion and expansion of her nursing practice. Jan is a Certified Clinical Aromatherapy Practitioner (CCAP), graduate of HealthRhythms therapeutic drumming programs, graduate of the Capacitar program, Reiki & Karuna Reiki Master Teacher, Shamanic Practitioner, Mindfulness Meditation Instructor, Cherokee Bodywork Practitioner & Integrative Medicine guest speaker and educator. Jan is the proud proprietress of Windhorse: Health and Wellness Products & Services (www.healthwellnessproducts.com).

Jan follows her lifelong call to be a vehicle for healing self, individuals, the community, and the cosmos. She uses a plethora of integrative strategies to assist the client’s own body to achieve a higher vibration and come into coherence and harmony. Jan is in the second year of teaching training in Scotland studying with Sandra Ingerman. Shamanism is the earliest spiritual practice known to humankind and its core teachings is that everything is connected. Shamanic practitioners learn to directly interact with spirits to address aspects of illness, perform soul retrievals, and obtain Divine information. Jan will be offering experiential courses in shamanism starting with the Core principles of Basic Shamanic Journeying, Soul Retrieval, Psychopomp, Shamanic Extraction of Illness, Power Animal Retrieval, Medicine for the Earth and Healing with Spiritual Light, and Ceremony and Ritual.

She also leads a holistic drum circle that she hosts one weekend after per month at Abundant Wellness , please refer to our schedule page for the dates and times.
